I'm graduating and going to New York––Columbia––in the fall. So this is my last happy post before I dissolve into a soot-colored pile of cynicism and cheap bagels.

If you're reading this, or if you aren't, I wish you the best in all that you do. If you are feeling down (because I am generally feeling down), remember that the world is a hot and fast and wonderful place outside of whatever dark part you're currently viewing, the kind of place where we have lunar festivals and Chex Mix and good friends (e.g., if you ask them, "How would you like to skip class to drink a Shirley Temple with me, if I give you my cherry and paper umbrella?" They will be like, "I would like that very much.")
